Loft Insulation
The roof is one of the main areas through which heat is lost in a home. Up to 50% of household heat can escape through the roof — loft insulation helps keep your home warmer and your energy bills lower.

How does Loft Insulation take place?
Loft insulation is undertaken in the property's attic or loft space. Insulation is usually thick rolls of a fibre/wool mixture — typically 100mm to 270mm thick — that is laid down evenly across the area.
Can I save money?
You could save up to £155 per year on your energy bills with properly installed loft insulation.
What is the process?
A survey will be undertaken to determine the amount of insulation required and what type is best suited to your property. Once confirmed, the insulation will be rolled out to future-proof your home against heat loss from the roof.
How long does it last?
Loft insulation can last up to 40 years and is guaranteed to last 25 years. Thicker insulation is recommended so that any further improvements or adjustments are not needed later.
How much will it cost?
The price depends on the size of the roof that needs insulating. As part of the Government's Energy Scheme, eligible homeowners may have the full cost covered — get in touch to find out if you qualify.
